u are so right abt reminding the kids that having fun doesnt need to be expensive. :) love the shots!

Thanks for the visit, Mistyeiz :) I just hope parents can be more creative in making their children's play more enjoyable than just playing video games.

Great take on the theme. Paper boats, oh yes. And origami. Haven't done anything like that for ages.

Thanks Liz. Good to teach children nowadays that there is a lot more to do than just staying plugged or wired. Thanks for the visit :)

Good choice for the old fashioned theme. My daughter used to love to do origami christmas tree ornaments.

Wow, Carver, handmade Christmas decors. We try to do different activities to avoid having them in front of the TV or computer. These were some of the things we enjoyed before and these are still fun to do :) Thanks for the visit!

Ah the old fashioned art of paper folding.

Yup, hundreds of designs to be done. Good for increasing attention span and following directions as well ;) Thanks for the visit!

That's fun! I remember making paper boats with my brother and letting it sail along the gutter after the rain.

Ah, yeah, Rachel. We can't do that anymore because of dengue. I preferred our way of having fun then. Nowadays, with children wired and playing plugged things, they don't seem to have much fun. Thanks for the visit :)

My paper boats are usually not nice looking. My paper airplane though, can fly. Lol. Origami never runs out of style, no matter how old-fashioned the art is now.

Good choice on this week's theme.

Mine's here

We haven't done paper airplanes yet. We will be trying these with the Origami link. I had a student before who even puts powder in between the folds of the paper airplane so that there "smoke" when he tries to fly it :D Thanks for the visit :)

Yup, they like these. More fun than just being stationary in front of a TV or computer. :) Thanks for the visit :)
