Our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal is celebrating his 150th Birth Anniversary this year.
The National Historical Commission of the Philippines has lined up activities and events all over the country in order to commemorate the occasion.

The younger daughter participated in yesterday’s Run United 1 (500 m dash) at the Bonifacio Global City.
We were all up half past 3am and on our way to the venue. The drizzles made me wary at first because we don’t want to get sick. However, since we already experienced a fun run with the rain falling in full blast, I knew my younger daughter is more than ready for this event.
After all, she’ll only do 500 meter dash which seems a walk in the park compared to last year’s Mommy Milkshake 3k run and Fun Run with Friends where she got a second place position after going around the UP Oval with some other kids including Kuya 😉
So how did the younger daughter do? She placed 71st among all 384 children, 34th among 183 females and 18th among 96 girls in the 6-9 years old category.
