In comparing fractions, use the following symbols:

> means is greater than

< means is less than

= means is equal to


A fractional part becomes smaller as a whole is divided into more parts.

 

Lesson 12

In arranging fractions with the same denominator, the bigger the numerator, the greater the fraction.

In arranging fractions with the same numerator, the bigger the denominator, the lesser the fraction.

Advent Preparing fro Christmas

Advent means coming.

Advent is a time of waiting.

Advent Wreath

The circular shape tells us that God has no beginning and no end.

The color of the wreath is green meaning life.

The candles tell us that Jesus is our guide.

The three candles are violet. The other candle is pink or rose which means joy for the coming of Jesus. This is prepared four weeks before Christmas.
