my son who is 9 yrs old has ADHD.

is it okey to homeschool him? i am still reading on the pros and cons of homeschooling knowing his condition.

do they accept students with ADHD?

    thanks

*Paulette, I am not sure if I emailed you already, my apologies for this delayed reply. For your son with ADHD (was he given a diagnosis already and who is your dev ped?), it is best to ask your doctor and his therapy providers the proper school placement. But for me,it is ok to have him homeschooled but he would be lacking in social and interpersonal skills with other children which is needed to help him be more sociable and have appropriate behavior, if in case there are problems in that area. Sure, going to a regular school would prove to be stressful for him, for the school and for you as well, but you may need to have him evaluated to really pinpoint the best program for him. Hope this helped a bit. Just email me if you have more questions. 🙂
