Handies or finger plays show and do actions by means of your hands and fingers.
Notes #8
Predicting Outcomes is intelligent guesswork.
We use our imagination to tell what will happen next to a certain story or event. Predicting outcomes means telling what will happen next.
Still a part of the Inference lesson:
Where Go the Boats
Dark brown in the river.
Golden in the sand.
It flows along forever,
With trees on either hand.
Green leaves a-floating,
Castles of the foam,
Boats of mine a-boating
Where will all come home?
On goes the river
And out past the mill,
Away down the valley,
Away down the hill.
Away down the river,
A hundred miles away or more,
Other little children
Shall bring my boats ashore.
By Robert Louis Stevenson
Notes #8
To make an inference or intelligent guess, we have to understand the sentences and situations in a paragraph.
Firefly
A little light is going by,
is going up to see the sky,
A little light wing.
Â
I never could have thought of it,
To have a little bug all lit
And made to go on wings.
-Elizabeth Madox Roberts
Notes #6
In knowing reality from fancy, distinguish what is real from what is not real or what we call fancy or suspicious.
Reality refers to what is true while fancy refers to what is not true. This is usually created by our imagination.
Notes #7
Just like arranging words in ABC order, sequencing is arranging words or objects in a certain order.
The terms first, second, third are also used.
