Proper and Common Nouns

- There are name words that do not particularly refer to a particular person, place, thing or animal. They are called not exact name words or common words or common nouns. These begin with a small letter.
- Name words have special names. Each part of a special name begins with a capital letter. They are called exact name words or proper names or proper nouns because they give exact names.
