Pamayanan at Populasyon

Ang Pilipinas ay binubuo ng mga pamayanan at barangay.

Ang mga mag-anak ang bumubuo sa mga pamayanan.

Ang laki ng mga mag-anak ay may kinalaman sa laki ng populasyon sa pamayanan.

Maliit ang populasyon, kapag maliit ang bilang ng mga kasapi ng mga mag-anak.

Malaki ang populasyon, kapag malaki ang bilang ng mga kasapi ng mga kamag-anak.

Lesson 3

Matter has color and smell.

Primary colors: red, yellow and blue.

Secondary colors: green, purple and orange

Odors: pleasant and unpleasant

These two properties are used to describe and identify matter.

Lesson 4

All objects occupy space.

Solids and liquids occupy a definite space.

Gases spread out to fill the space of the whole container regardless of its sizes.

Lesson 3

• Multiplication and division are related.

• Division is the inverse of multiplication.

• When we write 5 X 6 = 30 and 5 X 6 = 30, the inverse is written as 30 ÷ 6 = 5 and 30 ÷ 5 = 6, respectively.

Lesson 4

Dividing numbers by 2 is the same as grouping into 2s or finding how many sets of 2 there are in all.

Picture Words

1. Words like nice, big, small and sweet are picture words. They are also called describing words because these describe persons,places,things and animals.
2. The picture word is in the positive form when we simply describe what we see without comparing what we describe with any other person,place, thing or animal.

• sp- spider
• sn- snail
• st- stairs
• sw- swim
• sc- scarecrow

The Holy Spirit Helps Me in Loving Others

• To love is what God wants us to do.

• Jesus was teaching a man about love and He said: “You shall love the Lord your God alone and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

• St. Paul was a true follower of Jesus. He showed his love for Jesus by preaching and doing good works even if many did not like to believe in the true God.

• If you love God and you believe that the Holy Spirit will help you in loving, you will become a loving person.

Ang salitang nagpapakita ng kilos o galaw ay tinatawag na salitang kilos.

Pandiwa (verb or action word) ang isa pang tawag sa salitang kilos.
