Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday is CANDY!
It was the son’s first time to eat a cotton candy and he was very excited about it. He loved it but I was not particularly “happy” about it because it was so sweet!
This is the cotton candy we bought at a mall while waiting for hubby to arrive from his office. We always wait for him here because he parks here and this is just walking distance from my own workplace.
The son biting into the big cotton candy. It was just him and me that time since his sisters are vacationing with my parents.
Here is another entry full of sweets.
Have a sweet weekend 🙂

Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, April 12, 2008 is TWISTED.
Last Sunday, we went to see the Manila International Auto Show. The highlight of our trip was watching the Russ Swift Precision Driving stunt which was also our second time to watch. The children of course had a great time. They readily posed inside the twisted tire tracks made by burning rubber when Russ did J turns and Donuts. A J-Turn is a driving maneuver used to reverse a backwards-traveling vehicle so as to continue driving in the same direction, but with the vehicle pointed forward, according to Wikipedia. Donuts, well, these are 360 degrees turns that make the car’s tires screech and burn, leaving tire tracks on pavement. Exciting isn’t it?

Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, March 29, 2008 is HIGH. I have a photo that represents the word high differently.
Congratulations to the home schooled students of CFA for their Graduation and Moving Up Day yesterday, March 28, 2008. We started the event with a Holy Mass. Below is a photo of the son on stage as he recited “Where Go the Boats” a poem by Robert Louis Stevenson.
At first I was doubting if he has enough guts to recite a poem on stage because it was my idea to volunteer that he will do an intermission number for this program. My goal was to see if he is up to the challenge to speak in front of strangers. He didn’t disappoint us and the moment seem so fast it was over in seconds 😀 That gave us a different kind of “high”. We are proud of you, son 🙂 (Sorry the photo is a little blurred, that was taken from the pc because that was from a video).

I am Julian and I am 6.7 years old. I love to read books about different topics. I can even memorize all the words in some of my short books. I know a lot about countries, flags, population, languages spoken in different countries, currencies and even the countries’ life expectancy rate. Am I different because I love reading the Almanac? Right now some of my favorite books are my English-Japanese dictionary, my new Spot What? book and word search fun book.
