Pangungusap na Patanong

Ang pangungusap ay maaaring nagtatanong.

Ang pangungusap na nagtatanong ay tinatawag na patanong. Nagtatapos ito sa tandang pananong (?).

Halimbawa:

1. Sasama ba si Tina?
2. Masakit ba ang ulo mo?

Maraming batang Pilipinong lumalagi at naghahanapbuhay sa lansangan.

Kaawa-awa ang kalagayan ng mga batang lansangan kaya’t kailangan nila ang kalinga at pagmamahal ng kapwa.

Dapat nating tulungan ang mga batang lansangan upang umunlad ang kanilang buhay.

Care for the Earth

The Earth needs to be cared for.

Biodegradable materials are objects that easily decay like fruit peel and paper. These can be used as compost or fertilizer for the soil and as fuel.

Nonbiodegradable materials are objects that do not easily decay even after a hundred of years. Some of the wastes here can be recycled, processed and/or reused like old bottles made into new glass containers.

To keep the soil fertile, plant seedlings. Plant roots help hold the soil together by preventing the top part of the soil from being washed away. Adding compost, a mixture of decaying matter like fruit peels and decaying leaves is another way to make the soil fertile.

The water and the air are also important in the environment.

Waste pollutes water like rivers and streams.

By not burning waste, especially plastic that is poisonous when inhaled, would help curtail serious health problems.

Singing Action Songs

Poems can be sung with actions and these are called action songs. It is easier to memorize words correctly if you sing them over and over again. In this way, you will remember the words easily.

Word Problems Involving Money

• To add amounts of money, add the centavos first then the pesos. Regroup whenever needed.

• To subtract amounts of money, subtract the centavos first then the pesos. Regroup whenever needed.

Ang pangungusap ay salita o lion ng mga salitang may buong diwa. Nagsisimula ito sa malalaking titik at nagtatapos sa isang bantas.
