Climbing a tree is a bit of hard work but with perseverance and a little support, it can be fun! Except for the ants 🙂

Reading and Writing Amounts of Money

(peso sign) is the symbol used for amounts in pesos.

(centavo sign) is the symbol used for amounts in centavos.

A decimal point (.) separates the pesos from the centavos. It is read as “and.”

Maps

A map is a guide travelers use to find places. There are different kinds of maps.

1. street maps that show the streets of a city or a town
2. road maps that show roads connecting cities and towns
3. topographic maps shows not only the roads but also the height of the landforms

A globe is a model of the Earth.

Mga iba’t-ibang uri ng Pamayanan sa Pilipinas:

1. pamayanang lungsod

2. pamayanang komersyal

3. pamayanang residensiyal

4. pamayanang sakahan

5. pamayanang pangisdaan

Ang hanapbuhay ng mga taong naninirahan sa bawat pamayanan ay naaayon sa kanilang kapaligiran.

Ordinal Numbers

An ordinal number is used to tell he place or position of a person or an object in a set.

To write an ordinal number in symbols, write the numeral then append the last two letters of the ordinal.

Examples:

1^st – first

2^nd – second

3^rd – third

Fold some paper to make paper boats. Blow a little air and off go the paper boats on water. This is fun! We love to play!
