Mag-Anak

Ang mag-anak ay binubo ng tatay (father), nanay (mother) at mga anak (children)

Bawat kasapi ng mag-anak ay mahalaga.

Ang mga mag-anak ay nagkakaiba sa bilang ng kasapi, pisikal na anyo, at uri ng pamumuhay.

Ang lolo, lola, tiyo, tiya at pinsan ay kapamilya ng mag-anak na Pilipino.

Lesson 1

Matter may be classified unto three groups: living things, once-living things and nonliving things.

Lesson 2

Solid objects:

  • has a definite shape and size
  • size tells how big or small objects are
  • the shape of an object can be circle, square, triangle, oval or rectangle
  • some objects have irregular shapes
  • solid objects do not change their size and shape but when these are cut, hammered, or torn apart, their size and shape may change.

Liquid Objects:

  • objects that flow are called liquids
  • Liquids can be poured.
  • Liquids have no definite shape and it only follows the shape of its container and it occupies a definite shape.

Gas:

  • Gas spreads to fill its container and does not have a definite shape.
  • Air is an example of gas.
  • The shape of a gas depends upon its container.

    Lesson 1

    • Division means grouping objects equally.
    • The division sentence tells us how many equal groups of objects there are.
    • The dividend is the total number of objects.
    • The divisor is the number of objects in each group.
      • The quotient is the number of equal groups. It is the answer in division.

    Lesson 2

    • Division is also repeated subtraction.
    • Repeated subtraction means subtracting the same number as many times as needed until a difference of 0 is reached.
      • It also involves finding out how many equal groups there will be if we keep o subtracting the same number.
