  1. There are name words that do not particularly refer to a particular person, place, thing or animal. They are called not exact name words or common words or common nouns. These begin with a small letter.
  2. Name words have special names. Each part of a special name begins with a capital letter. They are called exact name words or proper names or proper nouns because they give exact names.

Julian reading the L blends words yesterday. He was able to come up with his own list. I asked him to write one word per blend. After he copied about six pages with at least six L blends words written. Good for his writing skills. He got a lot of star stickers too.

Homeschooling is good, according to him.

Pilipinas ang bansa ng mga Pilipino.

  1. Ang Pilipinas ay isang kapuluan. Ito ay may 7, 100 pulo/isla.
  2. Ang Pilipinas ay nahahati sa tatlong malalaking pulo: Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao.
  3. Ang Pilipinas ay bahagi ng mundo. Ito ay naliligiran ng mga tubigan, tulad ng Dagat Tsina (South China Sea), Karagatang Pacifico (Pacific Ocean), Dagat Celebes (Celebes Sea) at Dagat Sulu (Sulu Sea).
  4. Ang mga bansang malapit sa Pilipinas ay Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan at Vietnam.
